Coalition Letter to President Trump on UN Special Rapporteur’s Report on Freedom of Religion

Mary Rice Hasson, CWF Director, and other leaders dedicated to freedom of religion, including Austin Ruse of the Center for Family & Human Rights and Robert P. George of Princeton University, wrote a letter to President Trump concerning a troubling report on religious freedom at the UN Human Rights Council.

Dear President Trump:

We write to you as individuals and representatives of organizations dedicated to the fundamental and unalienable right to freedom of religion or belief to express our serious concerns surrounding the 27 February 2020 report of Mr. Ahmed Shaheed, Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief, to the UN Human Rights Council. Your leadership is greatly needed to protectAmericans’ fundamental rights by rebutting this UN report as a dangerous and ill-founded attack on religious freedom.
